I’m Mahrad, a musician and composer for whom music is more than just a profession—it’s a language. Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to the world of sounds, with the piano guiding me on this journey. Along the way, I’ve developed a deep connection with other instruments like tar, tonbak, setar, and violin. Each of these instruments offers a unique world of its own, sharing different stories and emotions.
I create music and use every moment to express my feelings. My work is a reflection of who I am, and each note conveys a different emotion. I compose original music and also reinterpret pieces that inspire me. My goal is to connect with you, sharing the sounds that live in my mind and heart, and hoping they resonate with yours.
Music has always been more than just sound to me — it’s been a language, a comfort, and a way of understanding the world. I started exploring music not because I had to, but because I couldn’t help it. The piano became my first companion, and from there, I found myself drawn to the textures of traditional instruments like the tar, tanbour, and setar. Every note I play feels like a piece of my story being told.
But none of this journey would have been possible — or at least not this smooth — without my family. My parents have always encouraged me to follow my passion, even when it meant taking an unconventional path. Their support has been quiet but constant, like a rhythm beneath my melodies. They gave me the freedom to explore, and the safety net to fall and get up again.
And then there's my aunt, Zahra Naserzare. She's been one of the most influential people in this path. Her energy, creativity, and belief in my potential made me push harder, aim higher, and trust myself more. She didn’t just cheer me on — she opened doors, asked the right questions, and made sure I never felt alone in this.
I’m still at the beginning of my musical journey, but thanks to the love and support of my family, especially Zahra, I’m walking it with purpose and joy. And I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and sharing every step of the way.
